Spartank
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
This project is an the complete version of the 2D Shooter Project for CAS 117 at Michigan State University.
Modifications:
- Updated almost every sprite shown in-game to fit a new theme of a tank defending a football stadium
- Changed the area in which the levels take place to look like a football field, with new sprites and colliders
- Changed the way the player controls are reflected in the player sprite
- Tank body moves independently of tank turret; added a new movement mode in the Control script and restructured the Player GameObject to accomplish this
- Tweaked the speed and frequency of projectiles
- Tweaked the size of players and enemies, and the camera size accordingly
- Changed the world border object so the player can't clip through it
- Added 4 levels, instructions, and a win message at the end of the game

Note - the WebGL version of the game has been removed because Unity crashes every time I try to build it. I will update this game page if I can get it to work.
