Gravinaut
This is a modified project for the CAS 117 course at Michigan State University.
Use WASD/D-Pad/Left Stick to move, Space/Bottom button to jump, and the Arrow Keys/Right Stick to change the dorection of gravity.
Modifications:
- Added Gravity Changing- by pressing the arrow keys, the player can chage the direction of gravity once mid-air and once on the ground.
- Added a custom script to properly orient the player
- Created an effect to play when the player changes gravity
- Made major modifications to the Player Controller script to function in 4 different directions of gravity
- Spent a significant amount of time and head-scratching trying to get enemies to work, but ultimately scrapped them for the final build
- Created 3 new acid tiles to face in all cardinal directions
- Designed one new level and one "playground" that allows the player to mess around and familiarize themself with the gravity mechanic
- Made a few small changes to the main menu screen

(2 notes -
1. This game is essentially a tech demo. I didn't have as much time to add features as I would've liked, and as a result the final product is the best version that I could reasonably make, and is not a full, complete experience. Think of it as a proof-of-concept.
2. I am aware that I misspelled the name of the game in the project files, however I am not going to torture my laptop by making 4 new builds of the game unless I come back to make significant changes.)
